My name is Rene Chalet aka (Pusha Persona) and founder of (Soul Puppy Music.) Born in Danbury, CT, I discovered a musical attraction at a young age singing on stage at the age of 3. I grew up a very shy kid experiencing social anxieties and faced traumatic events as a youth which later on led to problems with my mental health, battling with depression and addictions, I sought to look to the things in this world to try and fill the void that plagued my soul. It wasn’t until at the age of 22 I experienced a life of freedom by putting my faith in Christ. That’s also when my musical gift started to flourish and grow. Today that music is being used to reach people’s hearts and minds by making a connection through my life’s experiences in my music. Having music running through my family heritage, I grew up listening to Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop, Gospel, Rock, Blues, Country and the list goes on, It was this connection to music that nearly 20 yrs later inspired me to become a Bass Player and soon after that moved onto guitar, then keyboard/piano, drums, composing, production, arranging and finally beat making. Music is my passion and I enjoy all genres respectively. I’m a producer for the group Solomonic Journey which comprises these artists: Jonah Nathan, Liz Loja, Antoine Brewster (DJ Triple Threat), Ken Polk (Kaptain Ken of Alpha & Omega Music and Studios), and myself. I am also an artist in my own right that goes by the name of Pusha Persona creating my own music through my life experiences . I was signed to Higher Power Ent. God's Label in 2023 and we have been in collaboration on various projects since.

I'm a person that enjoys spending most of my hobby time practicing to reach new levels in music, I like learning new songs often, singing, meeting up with different musicians. I'm really laid back and easy going, and down to earth. I try to live my life according to the golden rule of treating others the way you want to be treated.
